Annu Publishing

I do not want to be too technical but simply stated Annu was the seat of cultural, spiritual, and scientific development of ancient Kamit(Egypt) for over three thousand years. It is often written as Iwnw, Iunu, or On of the coptic or Helipolis of the Greek and Annu for those who wish to try to speak the Medu Neter--the hieroglyphs. The I sounds as a short A, the W as a short U. When Annu is properly said then you have some thing like Ah-woon-new with the short A pronounced for a longer period of time than the rest of the word which is pronounced quickly. In fact, the wooh sound is very quick like the exhale of breath and almost imperceptible. I decided upon Annu so that when spoken in English the sound would come very close to what was said thousands of years ago instead of Iwnw, or Iunu which would be butchered forever as they are not made of familiar letter combinations. Annu was the home of Priests of Ra. There were other aspects of creation studied there and given the names Temu which was none other than a version of Amen, and Khepera (another version of Amen in its creative form) and HeruKhuti(sun god also). Perhaps that may be too difficult to understand. Know simply that Annu was the center of life for Kamit for over three thousand years and set the standard for the known world's culture. It became mythical having the largest temples, libraries and was the Jewel of the Nile. Think of Timbuktu and of the many mystical hidden cities of lore, but this was real...In fact, for the Kamitians, the abode of the blessed in the after life became known as Annu and it was said that the just lived there united with their spiritual bodies face to face with the Creator for all eternity. Perhaps this still doesn't tell you why I chose A-woohn-nu for the name of my company. Let's be a little more mundane. In a word and quite literally Annu set the agenda for world of the Ancient Egyptians for an eon. No small feat.
